When the button 'Lift Work' is pressed the light would turn to green and a voice would say 'Lift Work' along with the visual display that would also say 'Lift Work'.
A voice would then begin a short monologue:

Have you been in a lift before?
This is a lift.
It has all the standard fixtures and fittings you would expect in a lift, the mirror on the back wall, the formica wall coverings, the stainless steel flooring, plexiglass lighting, the hand rail support around three walls and the various buttons with their various options.

That's for the work in the lift.

The text in bold could possibly have musical accompaniment although could have some form of effects (reverb, delay etc) or fade away.
The duration of the piece could be altered to suit the length of journey (1st floor to 2nd floor or ground floor to 2nd floor). Or it could only function when the lift was stationary and on the ground floor with a message that said 'please return the ground floor before operating the lift work'.
